The versatile, easy-to-use Functional Testing Grid (FTG) is a device for developing and testing both gross and fine motor skills, stability and proprioception. Clients can move in all directions, in any plane. Not only can the FTG be used in assessment and reporting outcomes, it is also a training tool that facilitates functional activities such as walking, stepping, weight-shifting and reaching. It assists the development of higher-level skills such as hopping, jumping, lunging and throwing.

FLOOR USE
On the floor, the FTG facilitates isolated exercise testing for sagittal, frontal and transverse plane mobility, striding, stepping and balancing, as well as for more dynamic skills such as foot patterning and eye-foot motor coordination.

WALL-MOUNTED
Mounted to the wall, the FTG offers a variety of movement exercises that assist patients toward improved shoulder range of motion, enhanced movement in the upper extremities and the development of eye-hand coordination.
